The administration assistant will provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, teachers, students and parents in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner. The main responsibility of this role will be: To be a visible, positive staff member to welcome parents and visitors To undertake administrative, secretarial, work processing/typing, computing and information/data services, ensuring functions efficiently meet the needs of the school To provide support to reprographics, reception cover and break duties To support with the organisation in advance of trips, visits or electives To attend first aid training and be a first aider as part of a rota The ideal candidate will have/be: Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English General or administrative experience Fully competent at using ICT Confident in use of Office 365 Jane Austen College is a school with a unique and exciting history.
