Overview

Rethink Mental Illness are hiring a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our inspiring and friendly team at our Doncaster Crisis Service.

Doncaster Crisis Accommodation provides short-term accommodation for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The service has 4 beds, which can be accessed for a maximum of 7 nights, during which time staff will provide emotional and practical support over a 24 hour period to assist people using the service to resolve their crisis. The service works in partnership with the statutory Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team. We support people who are age 16 years upwards.


Responsibilities

* As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will support individuals in regaining confidence and engaging in social and workplace activities. You\'ll work closely with service users to achieve their personal goals and access necessary support on their recovery journey.
* Provide key worker support, including one-on-one assistance and liaising with other mental health agencies.
* Focus on individual needs, using communication, motivation, and coaching to support users in achieving their goals.
* Build rapport based on respect and honesty, maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.
* Working pattern: 12 hour shifts - Days, nights and weekends.
