Overview
Please note this is a Fixed Term contract until 09/08/2026.
Working within a Faculty of the school, the teacher will teach and support the learning of pupils in accordance with the policies of the Faculty and the school. Teaching will consist of classes at all levels and stages, including Personal Development. Success in the teaching responsibilities of the post will be determined by the improved outcomes, participation and successes achieved by the young people for whom the teacher is responsible.
Responsibilities
* Teach and support learning for pupils across all levels and stages, including Personal Development.
* Apply school and Faculty policies to planning, delivery and assessment of learning outcomes.
* Monitor and report pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to improve participation and achievement.
Qualifications
* Applications are invited from suitably qualified GTCS registered teachers.
* Evidence of appropriate professional qualifications and registrations as required by the role.
* This post is Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
