Position: Operational Project Manager Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 hours Location: Baginton Shift: Mon - Fri Join the UK’s premier parcel delivery company What you’ll do: Working in the Operational Support Team, responsibilities will include operational project support and also act as a key conduit for the implementation and early life new operational locations acting as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders. Key Role Responsibilities: To take business strategy and objectives and translate these into activities and actions which will deliver them Assist the Head of Operational Support in the planning of projects in readiness for handover to the business Implement new locations in a controlled and effective manner, ensuring early life support to the new site management teams Managing multiple projects at any one time Delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to scope Attend regular review meetings and document the content, action points and highlight the added value introduced through continuous improvement. Provide board level project updates Ensure deliverance of projects within timescales and cost & quality parameter At all times to consider the cost implications of methods and changes introduced To work closely with the planning team in developing new initiatives and projects Produce projects mandates, business cases and other project related documentation when deemed necessary by the Head of Operational Support Prioritise workload in line with the needs of the business Identify new innovative ways of working, to achieve business needs Provide assistance and coaching to site teams using structured and appropriate methods, to ensure individuals have the necessary skill base to encompass changes within processes and procedures What We Can Offer You: We’re proud to offer a workplace where everyone can thrive.
