A Brief Overview
Reporting to the Chief Underwriter, Annuities, the Senior Underwriter assumes responsibility for the assessment and appropriate risk selection of our Enhanced Annuity caseloads.
What You Will Do
1. Underwrite complex annuity (longevity) underwriting risks, according to RGA’s underwriting philosophy.
2. Possesses a solid understanding of medical conditions and terminology.
3. Manage casework loads to ensure completion within agreed service standards - in terms of quality, consistency, and turnaround.
4. Apply technical knowledge to complex case work and communicate decisions to client companies appropriately.
5. Act independently within specified authority.
