Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide end-to-end solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation.
This role is within our Metering team, where we are the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain, and manage meters to ensure accurate billing and monitor energy usage patterns.
What will you be doing?
As a Bid Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated bid team, driving growth through successful bids, proposals, and presentations. You will collaborate with bid professionals to ensure quality submissions aligned with our sales and strategy goals. Your responsibilities include coordinating bid plans, working closely with business development managers to develop winning themes, supporting tender clarifications, post-tender presentations, and ensuring final submissions meet client needs. Please note that this role offers hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Newcastle office.
What will you bring?
* Excellent communication skills, including presentation and writing
* Understanding of coordinating activities across multiple functions to meet high-level expectations
* Ability to work under tight and challenging deadlines
If you possess the following qualifications or skills, that’s great, but they are not mandatory to apply:
* Bid/sales qualifications such as APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification
* Experience in tender/bid management and bid writing
* Knowledge of the utilities sector
