Our client in Cardiff, an educational and qualification organisation, is seeking a Student Records Administrator to join them on a Temporary basis for an initial period of 6 week, with the possibility for this to extend. We are seeking someone ideally from an academic administration background, although strong experience of data and document / file administration would be a good match for this role. Location: North Cardiff - a car driver is preferable due to location, although bus and train links are good from the city centre Start Date: Immediate start Hourly rate: £12.87 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, What you'll be doing: Maintain accurate and student records, including changes in student status. Implement and uphold policies for student record management and updates. Liaise with students regarding changes to their registration; ensuring proper documentation. Communicate student status updates and required actions to stakeholders. Collaborate with Finance and Student Services to manage cases involving debtors and inactive students. Manage the full cycle of scholarship applications, including applicant support & data processing. Maintain high-touch communication with incoming scholarship students. Coordinate and deliver timely reports to scholarship providers. What we're looking for: Strong knowledge of student records or academic administration. Proficient in record management systems (e.g., SITS, Banner, or similar). Experienced in data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and task prioritisation abilities. Interest for using AI and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
