Salary: £150 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting an SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Wakefield, supporting students aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Complex Learning Needs, Communication Difficulties, and Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needsSupport students with Autism, Complex Needs, and Communication DifficultiesCreate personalised learning experiences linked to EHCP outcomesPromote communication, independence, and life skills developmentSupport emotional wellbeing and positive engagement in learningAdapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilitiesWork closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, pastoral teams, and familiesCreate a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentWhat You’ll Be Teaching
