Numeracy Intervention Tutor (Key Stage 3 Maths) – 37 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Intervention Tutor to support Key Stage 3 students in developing confidence and achievement in Mathematics.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for young learners through targeted intervention and small-group support.
Role Overview
•Deliver numeracy intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students
•Support pupils who require additional help in Maths
•Work closely with the Numeracy Coordinator and Maths department to identify learning gaps
•Build students’ confidence, engagement and problem-solving skills
•Monitor and report on student progress
The ideal candidate will:
•Have experience supporting or teaching Maths at Key Stage 3
•Be confident working with small groups and individual students
•Be patient, encouraging and able to motivate learners
•Have strong communication and organisational skills
•Have sound knowledge of the National Numeracy Tests
•Hold relevant qualifications or experience in education/support work
