Vacancy Details

The Role: Intervention Lead
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours a week term time only. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm. Fridays 8.00am to 3.30pm
Salary: WHFNJC M Grade

The Intervention Lead will lead on the planning, coordination and evaluation of interventions and student experiences that improve engagement, attendance, behaviour and outcomes – particularly for vulnerable and disadvantaged students.


Key responsibilities

* Lead the design and delivery of targeted interventions to support pupil progress and wellbeing
* Coordinate and enhance student enrichment and experiences, including trips, workshops and wider opportunities
* Work closely with pastoral leaders, SENCo and teaching staff to identify and support pupils with additional needs
* Track and evaluate the impact of interventions using data
* Build positive relationships with students, families and external agencies
* Contribute to a whole school culture of inclusion, aspiration and success

* Experience working with secondary-age students, particularly those facing barriers to learning
* Strong understanding of pastoral support, interventions and inclusion strategies
* Ability to analyse data and use it to inform practice
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach
* A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for all students
