The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
As Operations Support, you will play a vital role in providing a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function in the warehouse.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00
- 06:00 Salary: Up to £28,318 £2,000 night premium per annum DOE Key duties of Operations Support: Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems Assisting the Picking and Packing Team by providing Engineering solutions toassistin an Operational capacity.
Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
Carry out planned maintenance,inspectionsand complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.
Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.
Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.
Proactively make recommendationsregardingthe equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.
Qualifications You will be expected todemonstratecompetence in the following areas: Label Printer set-up and maintenance Network patching of laptops and printer to pack benches Systems/Peripheral Configuration Local Control of IT Asset Management General Troubleshooting and Fault Finding Technical knowledge is desirable in the following areas: (External Systems) Printer Management Device Management Staff Maintenance (such as passwords and access levels) CubiscanMaintenance Conveyor systems Patching of Dumb Terminals and Printers Experience in working with the following equipment is desirable: Checkweighers Pallet wrapping Shrink wrapping Various bespoke hand packing/labelling lines with printers MCS Additional Information As part of our drive to make Great Beara great place to work.
