About the opportunity
Due to ongoing, successful expansion, our client is recruiting permanently for a well-established Planner who will be responsible for supporting the successful completion of projects by building detailed programmes from drawings and specifications and monitoring and recording progress throughout the project timeline. This role involves coordinating various project elements to ensure commercial awareness and operational effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Planner, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial team, in-house design team and the client, in order to extract information and communicate potential changes and problems to the programme, allowing for the timely resolution of issues.
About the requirements
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must be competent in Asta software and have a well-developed ability to communicate technical issues clearly. As a Planner, you have the ability to read, absorb and visualise information from drawings and text and convert this into a robust vision for construction.
As this is a permanent opportunity, my client is looking for a Planner who can demonstrate stability throughout their career, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 2 years.
Additionally, you must be familiar with JCT & NEC contracts from a programme production and reporting perspective and have experience working for a busy and fast-moving demolition, groundworks or concrete frame specialist. Please note, this industry sector experience is essential.
About the benefits and rewards
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £75,000 to £85,000 per annum however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer which includes travel expenses and private health care in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
