Kitchen Assistant with Enhanced DBS - Start Immediately! Blue Arrow is looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants with an Enhanced DBS to join our team and support school kitchens in creating healthy, tasty meals for pupils and staff. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment and take pride in high standards of hygiene and service, we want to hear from you! Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm (slight variation on this is possible) Pay: £12.21 - £12.60 per hour Contract: Ongoing DBS: Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) required before starting (Can assist acquiring - however has charge) What You'll Be Doing Delivering excellent customer service during meal times Helping with food preparation and portion control Serving meals and drinks promptly and professionally Cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Keeping food prep and dining areas clean and safe Organising and storing ingredients correctly Putting away deliveries Clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining space What We're Looking For At least 6 months' experience in a catering or kitchen role Food Safety Level 1 certificate (we can provide this free) Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) - essential Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards Reliable, friendly, and punctual Why Join Blue Arrow?
