​ Job Title: Regional Fundraiser (North Wales) L ocation: This role can be aligned with any of our North Wales Offices (Wrexham, Felinheli and Rhyl) Salary: £28,356 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 Closing date: 10am Thursday 24 July 2025 ​ Document links: Job description: Regional Fundraiser - North Wales Application form: Application Form July 25.docx Application guidance: Application guidance ​ Please note CV's submitted will not be put forward for shortlisting. ​ Job Introduction: Our Fundraising team is responsible for generating funds to support ‘core’ organisational running costs and special projects. ​ We are looking to maintain the diversification of our funding streams and grow our fundraised income to ensure we can support the increasing demand for our services throughout Wales. The Regional Fundraiser (North Wales) plays a key part in helping us to achieve this change. ​ Working closely with colleagues locally and nationally, the Regional Fundraiser (North Wales) will support delivery of the Fundraising and Income Generation Strategy across the region, securing income from various sources that will enable Shelter Cymru to fulfil its strategic priorities and continue to support people in housing need in Wales. ​ Supporting the delivery of Shelter Cymru’s local community fundraising activity, our Regional Fundraisers play a key role in connecting local communities to the work Shelter Cymru does. This is achieved through collaborative work with service delivery colleagues and local community groups. ​ Our Fundraising team is a high-performing, values-driven function that generates income to power our fight for home in Wales. We’re growing our team, and this is one of three opportunities we currently have available. Hybrid working - We are developing a flexible and hybrid working approach for all staff, with a minimum of 1 day per week working in the office and have offices across Wales (Cardiff, Swansea, Rhyl, Felinheli and Wrexham) and employees are provided with an office base. Workplace counselling - frontline workers have access to bi-monthly peer support and reflective practice groups, facilitated by a counsellor. Frontline Workers can also access 121 counselling sessions. Employee Assistance Programme to help staff to deal with personal problems that might impact on work performance, health and wellbeing. The programme offers a wide range of support, including online resources, counselling, legal & financial support and referral services. Financial Shelter Cymru operates a contributory pension scheme – employer contribution 4% and 5% employee contribution. Non-contributory group life assurance scheme (up to two times annual salary) Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption pay Enhanced sick pay scheme. Contribution to Christmas party.
