Role Summary

As a Radiology Department Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting radiographers and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging services. You'll help prepare patients for scans, assist during procedures, and ensure our department runs smoothly and safely.
Radiology Department Assistants support Radiographers, Sonographers, and Radiologists in delivering frontline care in a busy Imaging Department, seven days a week. You will help create an efficient, safe, and caring environment, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping others. Full training will be provided, so it's a great opportunity to start or develop your career in healthcare.
Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2) in English and Maths
* Caring, reliable, and team-focused
* NVQ Level 2 in Care or healthcare experience desirable. A good understanding of IT is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic healthcare environment.
