Job Overview
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT UNTIL 31/03/2027 TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE. An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Public Health Dietitian to join the team here in the West Area in BCUHB. The role is offered on a Bank basis; shifts will be available as service needs allow, but hours cannot be guaranteed and will depend on sickness cover, maternity leave, vacancies and budget capacity at the time.
Main duties of the job
The Dietitian will support the team in developing, implementing, delivering and evaluating best practice in relation to Public Health, working as an integral member of and in partnership with multi‑agency teams. You will remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly group of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute, primary care and public health. Clinical placements for students are delivered, and secretarial and assistant support is available.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Degree in Dietetics
* HCPC registration
Experience
* Post registration training in specialist area / advanced diploma in dietetics
* Member of British Dietetic Association
