We have a great opportunity for an experienced Specification Technologist to join our established food manufacturing client based at their site in North Yorkshire. Working as part of the technical team this is a 12-month FTC site-based position
The successful Specification Technologist will be responsible for:
1. Preparing, managing and updating product specifications and packaging controls
2. Ensure all packaging and labelling comply with legal and customer standards
3. Work closely with the Technical Services Manager to maintain all systems related to product specifications.
4. Collaborate with customers to ensure their specifications are met
5. Liaising with customers, governing bodies and internal teams to ensure specifications are compliant
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer specifications, ideally with food or retail clients. You should have a strong understanding of BRC standards, retailer codes of practice and legal requirements for food packaging and labelling. You should also have excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills. The role would suit someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environmentHAH
This role offers an attractive salary £34,500 working Monday to Friday and is to start November 2024. The business is commutable from is commutable from Malton, York, Scarborough, Driffield, Thirsk and surrounding areas.
