We are building a dynamic kitchen team from the ground up to work under the expert leadership of Head Chef Arthur Chan, formerly of award winning Aaharn in Hong Kong. We are seeking a creative and dedicated individual who is ready to make their mark. You will work directly with Arthur to perfect our dishes and set the high standards expected of a brand-new restaurant.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a Chinese or Asian cuisine setting.
· The ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
· A collaborative spirit and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Run a specific kitchen section: Take ownership of your station, ensuring all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standard.
· Manage prep and stock: Take responsibility for daily mise en place, inventory, and stock rotation for your section.
· Mentor junior chefs: Help train and guide any commis chefs working with you.
· Maintain quality: Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes leaving your station.
· Uphold standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment that adheres to all health and safety guidelines.
