Assistant Practitioner - Physiotherapy Orthopaedics (Weekend only)
To support the Physiotherapist in the provision of physiotherapy care within the Orthopaedic Service.
What we’ll need you to bring
* Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health / education / social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area
* Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area
* Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group
* Ability to apply a range of technical and practical skills
* Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
* Time management, planning and organisational skills
* Working knowledge of basic information technology
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team
* Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning
* Full valid UK Driving licence required for community work
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

* 3.75 hours, working 2 weekend shifts per month, day to be established
* Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Physiotherapy within University Hospital Hairmyres.
The working pattern for this role: 2 weekend shifts per month, day to be established.
