Machine Operator / General Operative - Immediate Start

Hours: 07:30 - 17:45, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Machine Operator / General Operative to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in the Coventry area. This role is suited to someone with a strong hands-on background who is comfortable working in a production or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating production machinery in line with job specifications and company procedures
* Carrying out general operative duties including loading, unloading, and basic machine adjustments
* Performing visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
* Assisting with machine setups, changeovers, and routine tasks
* Following all health and safety guidelines at all times
* Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a machine operator is essential
* Background in manufacturing, engineering, or similar environments
* Good attention to detail and quality awareness
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
