Overview
Working in a multi-disciplinary design, product, and engineering team, you'll develop and lead the research strategy for a key area of our business. You'll be supported by our wider Design Research and Analytics community. You'll be responsible for managing the research plan and roadmap for your service or product area. You'll deliver research to solve customer problems, unlock new opportunities, and guide what is created. You'll enjoy working on varied research across the product development lifecycle, from generative to evaluative research.
Responsibilities
* Develop and lead the research strategy for a key area of the business within a multi-disciplinary design, product, and engineering team.
* Manage the research plan and roadmap for your service or product area.
* Deliver research that solves customer problems, unlocks new opportunities, and guides what is created.
* Conduct a range of research across the product development lifecycle, from generative to evaluative research.
* Lead with extensive design research expertise and apply a broad range of research techniques appropriately.
* Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and address hypotheses with detailed research proposals and plans.
* Identify and communicate the most important insights from research and advocate for good research practices across the team.
* Lead the strategic insight agenda in your domain, designing studies to understand future customer needs and ensuring designers have the right insights to inform their approaches.
* Demonstrate strong project management by supervising and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
* Collaborate with data analysts to present quantitative and qualitative insights to support customer-centered decisions.
* Apply experience with quantitative design research methods.
* Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design.
* Experience leading a team of researchers, including task management, mentoring, and support.
