The role of a LGV Driver you will be responsible for collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.
This is a great job if you like to work using your own initiative in the outdoors, carrying out a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.
Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
· Class C Licence holder.
· Valid Digital Tachograph.
· Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
· Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including, restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. With the use of high-end technology, we make the most of any food waste by taking it to anaerobic digestion plants, where it is converted into biogas that can be used for electricity, heat or even biofuel for transport.
