We're recruiting for a Packaging-focused Mechanical Project Engineer to join a Global EPC Consultancy delivering projects ranging from £250K to £40M. This hybrid role, based at Burton-on-Trent, offers a dynamic mix of mechanical design, supplier management, and full project lifecycle delivery - from feasibility through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Project Engineer
* Mechanical and process design of packaging and production lines
* Supplier selection, tender analysis, and cost control
* Site installation, commissioning, and performance trials
* Compliance with CDM, PUWER, and Machinery Directive legislation
Candidate Profile for Mechanical Project Engineer Role
* Background in mechanical engineering (Degree, HNC, or HND)
* Experience in project engineering, design engineering, or CapEx delivery
* Proficient in 2D CAD (3D CAD desirable)
* Valid UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability
