My client is seeking a Marketing Lead to join a successful and rapidly growing travel company in their modern offices in Cheshire. As they expand into new markets, they are looking for an individual to shape and drive their marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels. This role involves working with a team of talented marketers on campaigns with airlines and tourist boards, offering diverse and dynamic daily tasks. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with well-known brands and receive coaching and mentoring.
The Role:
Our client seeks a dynamic, experienced marketer to lead campaigns and projects for their B2B airfare and cruise products. The ideal candidate will build on their experience as a marketing generalist, bringing creative ideas to enhance customer journeys, boost brand awareness, and increase market share.
Key Duties:
* Create and execute standout campaigns, managing them from start to finish.
* Develop and write creative briefs for various campaigns and projects.
* Create content, including authentic copywriting and some image/video production.
* Proofread all content to ensure high standards.
* Prepare and deliver campaign reports with analysis of successes and failures.
* Apply learnings from reports to improve future campaigns.
* Coordinate events and sponsorships such as trade shows and Fam Trips.
* Manage relationships with travel suppliers, tourist boards, press outlets, and agencies.
* Maintain accurate records for tracking profit, loss, and expenditure.
* Communicate effectively to manage stakeholder expectations.
* Ensure innovation in marketing messages and channels.
* Maintain brand integrity across all touchpoints.
Skills Required:
* Minimum of five years in a senior marketing role.
* Full-mix marketing skills with campaign management experience.
* Understanding of market-oriented marketing and communications.
* Solid marketing principles knowledge.
* Ability to give creative direction across content and design.
* Excellent, persuasive communication skills, confident in stakeholder pitching.
