We are on the search for a talented and adaptable Video Editor & Motion Designer with excellent motion graphics and video editing skills to join our in-house team of creatives.
You will be at the forefront of all things Ministry of Sound, our world-famous nightclub.
We are the home of dance music and we're looking for someone with a strong understanding of club culture, music and youth culture.
This role is vital in creating dynamic edits and motion creative that excite our hugely diverse audience and that promote our brand across various platforms.
Your expertise will help us to deliver captivating visual experiences that enhance the venue, our marketing campaigns, events, and digital content.
You will be happy working within a productive team that operates at pace to deliver a high volume of daily assets, promoting ticket sales and brand awareness and continuity.
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our London office. We believe the best work comes from being together, so this position is studio-based five days per week.
You will be agile and enthusiastic to take on a range of different tasks, passionate about your work and music, and you’ll have plenty of experience to handle projects from briefing to completion.
You will collaborate closely with other in-house creatives who sit across our other businesses.
You will be adept at communication, keen to understand the requirements of others and able to achieve the right results.
You will hold project management experience within platforms like Asana or similar.
You will be highly skilled in Photoshop, Premiere Pro and AfterEffects. Skills and/or interest in 3D software and/or TouchDesigner is a big bonus! This is a creative video and motion-focused role. While most of the work will be creating video edits, motion design forms an important part of the position. Examples of motion design projects include:
We're ideally looking for someone with a strong eye for design, not someone who solely animates existing artwork. You should be comfortable generating ideas, creating your own visual concepts and designing social assets.
Experience creating visuals for live environments is a bonus, whether through previous projects, personal work or a strong interest in the space.
You are confident contributing ideas, references and creative thinking, whilst remaining open to feedback and able to work within an established creative direction. As well as creating engaging social edits that demonstrate a good use of sound design, transitions and shot selection, you will also assist on shoots when required.
You will be willing to attend club nights, shoots and events when required to support content capture and stay connected to the brand and audience. You will be comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high standard of output under tight deadlines.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A FULL-TIME, ONSITE ROLE BASED IN LONDON, WORKING FROM THE OFFICE FIVE DAYS PER WEEK.
