More about your role
We are recruiting a Strategic, Senior Talent and Development Partner to support our Places Leisure business as a Centre of Excellence. To be successful, you must be within a 60-minute commute of our main office locations (Preston, Derby, Bristol, or London), as regular travel will be required.
We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to partner with senior business leaders and leadership teams, implementing and delivering our talent and development strategy, focusing on mapping, developing, and mobilizing talent across Places Leisure and the wider PfP business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leaders to create, implement, and deliver talent and development strategies.
* Map, develop, and facilitate movement of talent across the organization.
* Implement strategic learning, leadership, and talent initiatives; support managers in team development, covering personal, professional, technical, and career growth.
* Ensure the workforce has the right skills at the right time, supporting management in building a customer service-oriented culture.
* Collaborate with People departments to align and integrate people processes.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in a partnering role delivering talent, development, learning, leadership, or HR initiatives as a centre of excellence.
* Experience designing engaging, inclusive training materials to develop capabilities.
* Ability to coach and facilitate learning for senior stakeholders.
* Track record of delivering impactful strategic projects with measurable KPIs and ROI.
* Strong leadership and line management experience, leading a team of three.
* Ability to work autonomously across business partnering, leadership development, strategic projects, and line management.
* Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive results in people development.
