You will be part of an excellent legal team, providing legal advice and conducting case work (and potentially undertaking advocacy), predominantly in relation to criminal and civil litigation.
You will have conduct of a wide range of civil and criminal matters, including civil claims, judicial reviews, inquests, trading standards prosecutions and education prosecutions etc.
Qualifications
* Significant knowledge/specialism and experience of civil and criminal law and practice
* Ability to provide prompt and accurate legal advice
* Clarity in both written and oral communications
* Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of personnel and organisations
* Ability to draft complex and unusual documentation and to deal with complicated and multifaced issues
* Experience of managing staff
* Ability to undertake advocacy
