Deployment and Resourcing Analyst – Smart Metering - 6 months FTC
Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to our Warrington office up to twice a week.

Role Overview:
As a Deployment and Resourcing Analyst within Arqiva’s Service Delivery Team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and analysing the deployment of smart meters and associated assets across the region. You will ensure that field resources are optimally allocated, installations are tracked and reported accurately, and data insights are used to drive operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Deployment Planning & Coordination Develop and maintain deployment schedules aligned with programme milestones. Coordinate with field service providers and internal teams to ensure timely installations. Monitor service order flow and resolve pre-installation escalations.
8. Resourcing & Workforce Management Analyse resource requirements and availability to support deployment activities. Collaborate with workforce planning teams to ensure optimal field coverage. Track and report on resource utilisation and productivity.
9. Data Analysis & Reporting Validate and analyse installation data for accuracy and completeness. Create dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Power BI. Support weekly governance cycles with visualised insights and progress updates.
10. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal stakeholders, third-party contractors, and customers. Provide updates and resolve issues related to deployment progress and data quality. Support the development of business cases for regulatory submissions (., Ofwat).
Skills & Experience Required:
11. Proven experience in deployment or field operations within utilities or telecoms.
12. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualisation.
13. Experience in resource planning or workforce management.
14. Understanding of smart metering systems and operational planning best practices.
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
17. Experience working on smart metering programmes.
18. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (., Ofwat, Ofgem).
