Overview
Job Purpose - To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. This role is hourly paid cover in the first instance with the potential for long term hours of delivery moving forward. We are seeking to appoint a Further Education lecturer to A Level Welsh 2nd Language. The role will allow you to develop as a lecturer, with the guidance and support of a team of Programme Leaders, Coordinators and Mentors who lead provision within the department. Your duties would include the preparation and delivery of engaging lectures for our developing students; along with administration, assessment and quality assurance practices associated with these duties. We encourage the use of practical and active teaching and learning methodologies, to bring the learning to life. You will be able to apply knowledge and examples from your experiences to the teaching and learning you deliver. This will ensure learners are gaining an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the duties, challenges and rewards of following a career in the Business industry.

* Salary: £22.58 - £34.91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience
* Place of Work: Rhos-on-Sea
* Holiday Entitlement: Pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), including pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays observed in Wales and up to 5 efficiency days (subject to change). Annual leave is derived from a pro rata full-time entitlement of 46 days included in the hourly rate.
* Working Pattern: 4.5 hours per week; Tuesday - to be confirmed; an additional 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) of contracted hours will be applied to reflect preparation and marking. 38 weeks per year.
