Rate: £24.91 per hour (CIS) + mileage between sites (40 hours per week)
Assistant Site Manager - Social Housing Refurbishments - Northamptonshire
I'm working with a well-established contractor delivering social housing refurbishment works across Northamptonshire.
They are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager across multiple refurbishment projects, working within occupied properties.
The Role:
Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of social housing refurbishment projects
Coordinating subcontractors and trades across multiple sites
Assisting with programme management to ensure works are delivered on time
Supervising works within occupied residential properties
Ensuring health & safety compliance across site
Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
Monitoring quality of workmanship and reporting defects
Liaising with residents, client representatives, and internal teams
Maintaining site records, diaries, and H&S documentationKey Requirements:
Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or supervisory role within social housing refurbishment
Experience working within occupied properties
Strong organisational and communication skills
CSCS essential, SMSTS or SSSTS preferred, First Aid advantageous
Full UK driving licenceOngoing work available with an immediate start, with mileage covered between sites
