Are you a flexible and proactive Cover Supervisor based in Halifax and available to start a new role immediately? Have you got previous experience working in secondary schools and Special Needs Schools? Empowering Learning are working closely with a high-achieving Special Needs School in HX2who are on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Cover Supervisor to join the school.

Role and responsibilities:
* Flexible and versatile approach to work
* To deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard, ensuring students remain engaged in their lessons
* Manage classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
* Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns
* Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements:
* Previous experience covering schools in secondary schools would be ideal, but not essential. Full training from the school is provided.
* Educated to graduate level
* Proactive and versatile individual
* The ability to think outside-the-box, on-the-spot and use your initiative when needed
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Strong behavioural management skills
