Circet Power NI are looking for an experienced Network Outage Planner to join our team.

Due to extensive growth in our power division, we have an exciting opportunity for Network Outage planners to join the Circet power projects Team. This role is based in our Northern Ireland offices, for the scheduling and programing of overhead powerline outages on the NIEN network covering the whole of their patch. The role will form part of the Circet project management team responsible for the successful delivery of network re-build schemes. The role will have key involvement in the management of NIEN’s customers and CML’s. Will involve compiling outage and CML plans for the network, produce maps and drawings detailing to work sections, and provide support and guidance to the field staff members.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Initial outage schedule for each circuit detailing how many outages is required on each section but in keeping with NIEN customer and CML commitments.
2. Compile proposals around locations of temporary switches and agree with the client
3. Manage and direct access officers so that agreements are in place for all work sections in keeping with the outage schedule
4. Manage and direct the pole and material deliveries in keeping with the outage schedule
5. Manage all the land owner exceptions
6. Manage and close out all customer queries in a timely manner
7. Manage all SFA’s if required
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:.
8. IT literate with MS packages
9. Proven track record for delivering results to tight timescales
10. Good communication skills verbal & written
11. Positive approach to problem solving
12. Strong desire to continually improve performance
13. Ability to work as part of a team and independently
14. Flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland
15. Full driving licence

16. Experience in overhead power industry as supervisor or higher
17. Electrical engineering qualification
18. CNS Knowledge
19. GNIS Knowledge
20. E600 system Knowledge
21. ARC GIS PRO
