We are looking for a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Co‑ordinator to lead and develop our gymnastics programme at GL1 Leisure Centre. This is a hands‑on leadership role combining coaching, programme development and team management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and mentor a team of gymnastics coaches
* Plan, deliver and oversee high quality recreational and competitive gymnastics sessions
* Create a safe, inclusive and progressive training environment
* Monitor gymnast development and provide constructive feedback
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures are followed
* Manage gymnastics administration including class schedules, coach rotas, attendance, re-enrolments and parent communication
* Coordinate classes, events and competitions and liaise with third party hirers
* Recruit, train and develop gymnastics coaches and support staff
* Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development
* Track KPIs and report on programme performance and growth
* Work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership teams
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Required Qualifications
* Level 2 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
* Proven experience coaching recreational and/or competitive gymnasts
* Experience managing workloads and working in a leisure environment
* Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
* Up to date Safeguarding, First Aid and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain
Desirable
* Level 3 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification
* Previous leadership or head coach experience
* Programme management and staff management experienceBudget, invoicing or sales knowledge
* Confident IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
