Your new role
As a Corporate & Support Services Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support within one of three key functional areas: Business Support, Finance, or Citizen Focus. Your responsibilities will include managing data and information, preparing reports and correspondence, organising meetings, and maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuringpliance with policies and legislative requirements. The role requires flexibility, as you may be asked to support different teams across the organisation to meet changing business needs.Key duties include:
1. Preparing management information, letters, and reports for senior officers.
2. Managing queries and assessing information against policy and legislation.
3. Processing data accurately and maintaining effective record systems.
4. Supporting financial processes, including monitoring and reporting.
5. Organising meetings and taking minutes.
6. Ordering goods and services to ensure best value.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
8. At least 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment, covering tasks such as record-keeping, diary management, minute-taking, and handling customer queries.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with financial systems.
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritisepeting demands.
11. Excellentmunication skills and attention to detail.
12. A full UK driving licence and access to transport (or equivalent).
