Year 6 Teacher (Full Time, Temporary)

£600 - £1308 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in a large primary school in Ponteland, Northumberland. This would be to teach in a Year 6 class. Working as part of an established team, the desired Year 6 (KS2) teacher will be teaching a mixed ability class, with an experienced Teaching Assistant. The role would be Monday to Friday, full time, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This is a ‘good’ primary school with a great outdoor space and facilities for the children. The school is open to both Early Career Teachers and Experienced Teachers, but ideally with recent experience in upper Key Stage 2.
Requirements
The desired Year 6 Teacher will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally Key Stage 2 (KS2)
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
5. QTS within the UK
