Role/Department
The Head of Product Management – Asset Servicing is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing asset servicing products and solutions. This executive role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry bodies to keep offerings competitive, compliant, and aligned with market trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Development:
* Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for asset servicing, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
* Manage pricing and P&L for asset servicing products.
* Lead innovation efforts by identifying market trends and emerging technologies.
* Oversee the lifecycle of asset servicing products, including Custody, Fund Administration, Banking & Markets & Data.
1. Client & Market Engagement:
* Engage with key clients to understand their needs and develop value-added solutions.
* Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings to position as a thought leader.
* Monitor industry and regulatory landscapes to ensure best practices.
2. Operational & Risk Management:
* Collaborate with technology, operations, and risk teams for seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
3. Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
* Lead and mentor a team of product managers.
* Work with senior executives, sales, technology, and operations to align strategies.
* Influence decision-making and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
* Extensive experience in asset servicing product management, custody, data & digital, and fund servicing.
* Strong knowledge of financial markets, post-trade operations, and regulations.
* Proven strategic product management experience in financial services.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior leadership and clients.
* Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with digital transformation and automation is a plus.
