Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking to recruit a key member of the Insurance team.
The Insurance Officer will ensure that an efficient and effective service provision is delivered in respect of the operation of the Council’s Insurance Section, including meeting corporate customer targets.
The Insurance Officer will assist in the renewal/re-tendering of all the insurance contracts i.e. block building insurance, main insurance (property, motor vehicle, combined liability, miscellaneous risks), for West Dunbartonshire Council, West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust, Dunbartonshire and Argyll & Bute Valuation Joint Board and Clydebank Property Company.
They will also be responsible for processing claims made by or against the Council as well as providing general advice and guidance in relation to a wide range of insurance matters to our customers and key stakeholders.
