Are you passionate about making a transformative difference in the lives of children? Do you believe that every learner deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their very best?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and compassionate SENCO to lead and champion inclusive practice across the Writtle Infant and Writtle Junior schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to ensuring all pupils with additional needs thrive—both academically and emotionally.
As our SENCO, you will:
* Lead and coordinate high‑quality provision for pupils with SEND across the Writtle Schools.
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Build strong relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals.
* Use your expertise to guide staff, shape practice, and drive whole‑school inclusion.
* Monitor and evaluate progress to ensure all learners shine.
You won't be working in isolation. You will join a supportive, skilled, and enthusiastic SEN team who are deeply committed to inclusive education. Together, you will collaborate, problem‑solve, share best practice, and celebrate the success of every child.
We have a wonderful provision for SEND care here at the Writtle Schools.
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
* Passionate about inclusive education.
* Knowledgeable about SEND legislation and best practices.
* An excellent communicator who inspires confidence in others.
* Organised, solution‑focused, and eager to drive positive change.
* Someone who believes every child can achieve great things.
At Writtle, we offer:
* A friendly, welcoming, and purposeful school community.
* A leadership team who truly values SEND and inclusion.
* Extensive opportunities for ongoing professional development.
* The chance to make a meaningful impact every single day.
