What you will do:
* Undertake comprehensive assessments in line with the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.
* Manage a diverse caseload, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre‑proceedings cases.
* Develop and review outcome‑focused care and support plans, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all interventions.
* Conduct Section 47 enquiries and contribute to Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences.
* Work in partnership with multi‑agency stakeholders, including health, education, police, and voluntary sector services.
Person Specification:
* Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent). Completion of ASYE where applicable.
* Registration and Compliance: Registered with Social Work England. Sound knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004, Care Act 2014, and relevant safeguarding frameworks. Understanding of PLO and court processes.
