As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of surface dressing to our clients, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving operational excellence. We are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join the team in Quedgeley area of Gloucester. The role will be working within the Specialist Treatments Division dealing with the planned programme of works across the South West.
Responsibilities include:
1. Day to day running operation of contracts and direct control of Supervisors, Agents, Permit Coordinator and Supply Chain Partners.
2. Manage and monitor health, safety, and environment on site, and regularly audit teams and personnel under your control.
3. Maintain and communicate effectively and efficiently with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
4. Liaise with the Fleet and Plant department when and where necessary.
5. To work closely with and support the Operations Manager to achieve expected commercial, safety and productivity targets.
6. Responsible for producing Budget Forecast throughout the year, delivery against budgets, turnover, profitability and ensuring payment within agree timescales.
7. Responsible for revenue estimation and sales invoicing and understanding the financial and commercial health of all contracts.
8. Involved in creating and monitoring the various programmes required to deliver works.
9. Submission of material and Supply Chain Partner requisitions
10. To direct resources of people, vehicles, plant, materials, sub-contractors, and premises, to achieve the aims and objectives within the local business plan.
