Job Description
* Coordinate Service – serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests’ needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed, provide leadership & guidance to catering staff to ensure smooth running of service / hospitality / events.
* Teamwork & Communication Skills - strong teamworking skills, leadership qualities, ability to adapt and respond quickly, ability to communicate effectively with both service & management team.
* Customer Service - provide high level of service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey. Support management team to ensure food & service area presentation standards are met.
* Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
* Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
* Other duties - Assisting in stocktakes, stock ordering, supporting the organisation of hospitality & events - communicating with customers, kitchen & management team to fulfil catering requests.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Previous experience supervising and supporting a team.
* Excellent organisational abilities, high attention to detail, understanding of delegating & managing time effectively.
* Concise and effective verbal and written communication.
* Proficient in use of Microsoft applications & overall good computer skills (role requires use of excel, word, rota systems, ordering platforms, emailing customers, menu/poster design applications).
* Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
* Have a contagious passion for food and customer service.
