Newport City Council's Residential Services are currently recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our dedicated teams across several children's homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of needs, including: • Learning and physical disabilities • Social, emotional, and behavioural challenges • Histories of trauma and adverse childhood experiences We are committed to creating a warm, stable, and family-like environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. Our staff are carefully selected and trained in trauma-informed practice and attachment-focused care to ensure the highest quality of support. What We're Looking For: We welcome applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds. While experience working with children is desirable, it is not essential. More important are the right values, motivation, and commitment to making a difference.
