Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Development Manager to join a well-established food wholesale business covering a high-profile territory across the North of Scotland. This is a field‑based role focused on growing independent retail accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building long‑term customer relationships across the convenience retail sector.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow existing independent retail accounts
* Identify and win new business across your territory
* Develop relationships with customers and convenience retailers
* Provide merchandising and category support to customers
* Analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities
* Work closely with logistics and internal teams to maximise service and profitability
About You
* Experience within FMCG, wholesale, convenience, or field sales (don't apply if this does not match your experience)
* Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills
* Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
* Comfortable managing a large geographical territory independently
* Organised, motivated, and confident working autonomously
