JOB DESCRIPTION Would you like to join our Asset Management team and help deliver an excellent service to our residents? We have an opportunity for a Contract Officer to join our team in Oldham on a full time, 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Heating & Hot Water Contract Manager, you will be responsible for a defined group of contracts covering Heating, Hot Water, Gas and Renewable Technologies. You will help deliver essential asset compliance services, ensuring our homes and buildings meet relevant regulations while providing safe, reliable and value for money services for customers. You will support the monitoring of contractor performance by collecting and presenting performance data, maintaining accurate property and asset records, and coordinating contract review meetings. You will also support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs and equipment replacement programmes, ensuring services meet required standards and budgets are effectively monitored. What we are looking for We are a customer-focused organisation, so how we deliver our services is just as important as what we deliver. You will be an experienced Contract Officer with strong customer service skills and experience of supporting the management or delivery of asset compliance contracts. You will be confident using performance and complaints data to identify improvements, ensure contractual compliance and deliver effective services, while working proactively and on your own initiative. You will also be able to demonstrate: Ability to gather information, diagnose problems, draw logical conclusions and suggest practical solutions. Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, tenants and staff across different functions. A good working knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to asset compliance. Good attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. A sound understanding of financial controls.
