What you’ll do: Ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen requirements, hygiene standards, and COSHH regulations Supporting all aspects of food preparation, cooking, baking, and presentation to a consistently high standard Leading and developing a team of Food Service Assistants, keeping operations organised and service-focused Planning menus, managing stock, and keeping tight control of costs Monitoring feedback and carrying out regular checks to maintain and improve quality Making sure kitchen equipment is safe, well-maintained, and used correctly Following company policies and supporting training and daily operational needs What you bring: Experience leading a kitchen team in a Head Chef (or similar) role Strong communication skills and a practical, flexible approach Level 3 Food Safety qualification and solid knowledge of health & safety Confidence managing records and kitchen operations Awareness of COSHH principles Experience with EPOS systems (desirable) Full clean driving licence (desirable) What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way.
