Year 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Birkenhead, Wirral
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with autism in a Year 1 class at a welcoming primary school in Birkenhead, Wirral.
This is a full-time position, starting 23rd February and continuing until July 2026. The successful candidate will provide tailored academic and emotional support, helping the pupil to engage in learning, develop social skills, and thrive within the classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with autism and will be patient, nurturing, and confident in implementing strategies to support individual needs.
