HSE Advisor – Fabrication (Contract Role)
The HSE Advisor supports the on-site Package Management and Fabrication Team by implementing HSE strategies and ensuring supplier compliance with project-specific health and safety requirements. The role focuses on driving performance improvements, reducing incidents, and supporting continuous safety enhancements during fabrication activities.
Ensure supplier compliance with HSE requirements per contract
Plan and conduct risk-based supplier assessments and inspections
Support HSE strategy implementation and Improvement Plans
Coordinate operational HSE initiatives across teams
Monitor and report on supplier HSE performance and KPIs
Maintain HSE data structure and reporting tools (e.g., Contribute to and attend HSE meetings, workshops, and audits
Develop yard-specific safety guidelines and deliver inductions
HSE document reviews and supplier action follow-ups
Risk assessments, inspections, and HSE site presence
Regular reporting on supplier performance and improvement tracking
Participation in meetings, risk workshops, and audits
Positive supplier HSE performance against project objectives
Effective implementation of improvement and assurance plans
IOSH or NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate (Diploma preferred)
~5+ years in industrial manufacturing HSE (ideally fabrication)
~Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
~ Knowledge of local HSE regulations
~ Valid training in Work at Height (e.g., Valid medical certificate
~ Fluent in English (spoken and written)
