Holt Engineering are looking for an experienced Stores Operative and Buyer to join our client in Poole, this is a role that offers a lot of variety and the chance to really make an impact.
The position is full time, working Monday to Friday and paying 28: 30,000 based on experience, the Stores Operative and Buyer will be involved in the efficient operation of the companys inventory and purchasing processes.
Key responsibilities for the successful Stores Operative and Buyer:
Ensure stock levels are optimised, materials are procured cost:effectively, and all storage areas are well:organised to meet operational needs Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and quality Process purchase orders Ensure the stores area is organised and operating efficiently Develop and ensure procedures are being followed for inventory and storage Creating and maintaining accurate records for costing, trends and stock levels Requirements to be considered for the Stores Operative and Buyer
Previous buying experience is essential as as well as Stores Strong negotiation skills Experience working with Management or ERP systems Benefits for the successful Stores Operative and Buyer:
