Amazon EU seeks a Tax Analyst to support its European business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser.
Overview
Primary duties include providing ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to Tax Country Owners, analyzing the application of tax legislation on business operations, designing and maintaining tax processes, and monitoring developments in Tax legislation across jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to Tax Country Managers.
* Effectively business partner to ensure business activities are consistent with the group’s European legal and operational structure.
* Analyze application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders.
* Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks.
* Monitor development in the Tax legislation in different jurisdictions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
* A minimum of 7 years of international income tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience of working with European tax laws
* AI tools knowledge
