The Salesforce Application Specialist III is focused on continually improving and enhancing the Amcor Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map.
This position requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform with expertise in the Sales, Service, and Voice Cloud environments, experience with Manufacturing Cloud desired. The position also requires someone who can understand both the current setup and Amcor business objectives, to quickly identify areas of improvement.
The Salesforce Application Specialist III should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project.
The Salesforce Application Specialist III will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, must have the ability to translate technical information, and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.

* Responsible for Salesforce platform including integration, performance, and security.
* Responsible for ensuring that solutions are implemented within the organization in such a way as to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
Principal Accountabilities
* Partners with business functions to expand business knowledge and increase functional expertise in multiple areas while being able to instinctively recommend to-be-solutions to resolve business needs.
* Leads strategic projects that drive value (cost improvement and/or top line growth)
* Establishes to-be solution alternatives with recommendations and participates on the best approach to pilot and deploy solutions
* Fully understands and applies the Amcor System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process when executing system modifications through the effective translation of business requirements into IT solution design. Ensuring all implications of the request have been considered, reviewed, and documented.
* Leads the writing of functional requirements, configures, develops test plans and scripts, conducts component, integration and user acceptance testing
* Leads data conversion, data validation efforts, cut over activities, and post live support for system implementations
* Works with development resources to confirm the requirement is being met while measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the solution and makes necessary adjustments before full deployment
* Manages advanced production support issues and service requests through the use of ServiceNow while committing to timely resolution and SLA adherence
* Partners in building the logical architecture diagrams for the system you support, including landscape management while also understanding the physical architecture and landscape components.
* Manages large IT projects, effectively applying the Amcor Project Management Methodology with accountability for milestones while engaging and leading appropriate Project Team Members (IT and Business). Responsible for defining project requirements, project scope, timeline, resources, obtaining Business and IT agreement on these items prior to project start
* Mentor and develop expertise through delegation of activities, knowledge sharing, and process documentation review/adherence
* Deep understanding of Salesforce including:
o All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
o User support tickets
o Monitor and improve user adoption
o New user and ongoing user training
o Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
o Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
o All Sales Cloud configuration and customizations specific to Amcor
o Service Cloud including Voice
o Commerce Cloud and Digital Experience
o Management of integrated applications and third party suppliers
o Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
o Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
o Sandbox environment management
o Identify unused or underutilised platform features
o Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
o DevOps/release management experience
o Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge

Qualifications/Requirements
* Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration and development hands-on experience
* 5+ years of work experience in business process and or IT, including software development and project management experience; experience in a large global environment preferred.
* Bachelor’s degree required, in computer science, management information systems, business or a related field. Master’s degree is desirable
* Remote employees will need to travel at times for team meetings and projects as required
* Certified Salesforce Administrator and or Developer
* Additional Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
* Fluent in English (company working language).
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing.
